The word means energy in motion the ancient scholars say that emotions motivate behavior,
but what I have observed is the combination of energy and motion motivates behavior.

whether consciously or unconsciously all our emotions have one of three motivations.


1. Approach

Increase the value of your attention to experience approach emotion that includes interest enjoyment, compassion, trust and love, Approach behavior are negotiating, encouraging, pleasing, cooperating, and protecting.



2. Avoid

Do not belittle the value of your attention, Avoid behaviors include ignoring, rejecting, dismissing.


3.Attack

Attack emotions like anger, hatred, contempt attack such emotions as these are manipulating and dominating.




4.Feelings

Feelings are similar to emotions. They keep on changing and subject to mood and sensation and psychological state.

Consistent Self-management requires to focus on core values, If you are faithful to your values it will eventually make you feel in control and empowered.


Controlling Negative Emotions


Self analyze yourself by writing down all that causes the impulsive reaction inside you, Notice things that make you angry, Think of ways you could change the way you would normally react by formulating a strategy to prevent losing self-control.

Plant new thoughts consciously whenever you feel emotions of anger soon this practice will become your habit.
